Sarah Michelle is so confused

Sarah Michelle Gellar insists she was the perfect choice to play a prostitute in her new film because she looks like a cross between an hooker and a porn star. The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star plays a prostitute in her latest film Southland Tales alongside Justin Timberlake and The Rock. The 29-year-old claims her sexy look made her ideal for the role. She tells Glamour magazine, "When you look at me, you think, 'I know - porn star!' It's sort of like a calling!"

Um.. when I look at her, I feel slightly bored, and then realize it's Buffy and wait for the guys in costumes to come out and the kickboxing to start. I'm not sure why she's claiming she looks like a porn star when her look is so totally suburban girl-next-door. Maybe she thinks this will revitalize her career? Maybe her career is headed somewhere other than The Grudge 6? She shouldn't get too excited about this new movie role... I'm pretty sure Justin Timberlake's last movie went straight to video.
