Oscar winner Hilary Swank believes her pending divorce from Chad Lowe is "not the end of the world" because couples separate all the time. The Million Dollar Baby star filed for divorce from Lowe in May, and is pleased to be getting on with her life. She says, "That's life. Millions of men and women fall in love, get married and then get divorced. "If what happened to me helps someone realise they're in a great relationship and to hold the person closer, then do it. "If it makes someone realise they're in an unhealthy relationship that is making them both unhappy, then it's not the end of the world."

Marriage, divorce, whatever, it's no biggie. This is Hollywood, there are plenty of guys with drug addictions & inferiority complexes just ripe for the picking! Why stick with one when you could try them all? Seems to make sense to me. Why have only one bad marriage when you could have three?

Latest shocking divorce

Porn queen Jenna Jameson has filed for legal separation from her husband of three and a half years.

TMZ obtained the legal papers, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Jameson, whose legal last name is Massoli, has been estranged from husband Jay Grdina. Grdina, also a porn star, performs under the name Justin Sterling.

The couple has no children, however, we're told the divorce could get nasty. Sources tell TMZ the couple has no prenup, but Jameson is rolling in dough after selling her lucrative business to Playboy. Jameson is repped by mega-celebrity lawyer Neal Hersh.

Jameson, once linked to rocker Dave Navarro, has been keeping company with Ultimate Fighting champion Tito Ortiz. The couple has been spotted partying it up in Vegas and Los Angeles, and was most recently spotted in the green room at VH1's Big in '06 awards.

Joel Madden has jumped back into the dating game after his split with Hilary Duff - he is reportedly romancing Nicole Richie. Madden and Richie were spotted out at Hollywood hot spot Teddy's at the Roosevelt Hotel on December 2nd, less than a week after Madden confirmed the split from Duff. According to Us Weekly, Richie, 25, and Madden, 27, were spotted holding hands and dancing, with one clubgoer adding, "Nicole couldn't stop smiling. I've never seen her happier." The following night, the new couple hit the town again, joining Madden's twin brother Benji and his Australian girlfriend Sophie Monk for an intimate dinner at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills. Madden, 27, and Duff, 19, announced they had split late last month and blamed the break-up on their age difference.

After more than a year together, Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn have decided to part ways. "After Jennifer's trip to London several weeks ago, Jennifer and Vince mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be good friends today," reps Stephen Huvane and John Pisani tell People.

The statement ends weeks of speculation that Aniston and Vaughn’s relationship has been cooling off. Vaughn has been filming Fred Claus in London since late September, while Aniston has been busy working in Los Angeles and New York.

Awww, how sad. Maybe now Vince can date something he really needs: a bottle of undereye concealer.

The reason for the split

Hilary Duff and Joel Madden's recent split came after Joel refused to take threats a stalker made against his girlfriend seriously, according to US reports. The pop star, 19, and the Good Charlotte rocker, 27, originally blamed the split on their age difference, but other factors behind the break-up have now come to light. Earlier this month, police arrested a man who is allegedly obsessed with Duff and had threatened to harm her. A source tells American publication Us Weekly, "Hilary has been so freaked out about it, but Joel didn't think it was as big of a deal. They fought about it all the time. He wants less drama."

I am just so shocked. You mean a guy who likes to date 17-year-olds doesn't like to take things seriously? He was probably hoping that stalker would take Hilary off his hands, since she's 19 now and past her prime.

I continue to be shocked that Pam & Kid couldn't make their marriage work. Yet another example of their cuteness, from their interview in GQ:

Aww, was Kid Rock upset by Borat?

Looks like we now know one of the many reasons this trashy duo is splitting. Pamela played Borat's obsession in his recent hit film, and Kid Rock (Bob) apparently isn't a Borat fan...

'"Ron Meyer held a screening of 'Borat' at his house for a bunch of people, including Pam and Bob," says an Anderson pal. "It was the first time Bob had seen the movie, and, well, he didn't like it."

The hugely popular film shows Sasha Baron Cohen - in character as Borat Sagdiyev - falling in love with Anderson after seeing her in a "Baywatch" rerun, then driving across America in order to propose marriage to her.

Her friend tells Page Six, "Bob started screaming at Pam, saying she had humiliated herself and telling her, 'You're nothing but a whore! You're a slut! How could you do that movie?' - in front of everyone. It was very embarrassing.

"Pam thought he could have a sense of humor about the movie. She was in on the gag from the very beginning and loved doing the movie. And on the eve of what was supposed to be a very positive thing, he made it an awful night.'

Come on, if you marry Kid Rock, you should be offended if several months go by and he hasn't called you a whore. That's probably about the nicest compliment that will come out of his mouth.

Looks like Keira Knightly might just make the November list of celebrity splits...

Keira and her boyfriend Rupert Friend have been having some serious relationship issues.

Why am I not surprised. This guy looks like Orlando Bloom, only not as cute. The only way she'd hold on to him is if he disguised himself as an Oscar or a bottle of diet pills.

Another Split

I know, this is even more shocking than Pam & Kid, but it looks like Hilary Duff & Joel Madden may have called it quits.

Madden made a guest DJ appearance at Enclave on Wednesday night and openly talked about how he is currently single. Madden told clubgoers Duff broke up with him about ten days ago and that their eight-year age difference was causing problems. (Madden is 27, Duff is 19.)

After taking over the DJ booth, Madden mingled and took pictures with some ladies. Word is Madden partied at the club until close.

So I guess the old pedophile/horse lover is back on the market after he used up his teen girlfriend. Can you believe it? He looks like the kind of guy you can trust, doesn't he? Oh wait, never mind. Hollywood Divorce #9132 this month!

This just in: Pamela Anderson has filed for divorce from Kid Rock barely 4 months after their wedding of multiple ceremonies!

Anderson, who is represented by celebrity hotshot lawyer Neal Hersh, cited irreconcilable differences.

The couple was married August 3, 2006. Earlier this month, Anderson suffered a miscarriage.

"EXTRA" first reported and TMZ has confirmed that Kid Rock also filed divorce papers today (documents to follow shortly).

We've learned there was not a prenup, however, the two were married for such a brief period of time it will probably have little impact.

Pam's website offers a short statement confirming the divorce, saying "Yes, it's true. Unfortunately impossible."

The Divorce is final

Chris Robinson has filed for divorce from Kate Hudson in Los Angeles, three months after their separation.

Robinson is requesting joint legal and physical custody of their son, Ryder, 2, and is not seeking spousal support, according to court documents.

The couple separated on Aug. 14 amid rumors that Hudson was romantically involved with her You, Me and Dupree costar Owen Wilson. The actress is currently in Australia shooting Fool's Gold.

Hudson, 27, and Robinson, 39, were married on New Year's Eve in 2000, only a few months after they met. After their wedding, Kate took a year off from acting to give their marriage a solid foundation.

Well... the solid foundation worked for about 6 years. Not bad for a celebrity marriage!
